My Journey Creating Eliza’s Tutoring/Bright Futures
Hey y’all, I’m Svaha Evelyn Eliza Williams, a 10-year-old from Flatbush, Brooklyn. I’ve always been into learning and helping others, especially since I’m homeschooled. I’m all about subjects like grammar, math, and basic history. Plus, I’ve got my little sis, Mei Mei, who’s 1, and my parents, Tanika and Shahkeem Williams, who are always cheering me on.
One day, I had this idea: why not take what I know and start a business? That’s when I came up with Eliza’s Tutoring/Bright Futures, my online tutoring service where I help kids struggling with their schoolwork. I break things down in a way that’s easy to get, whether it’s grammar, math, or history.
At first, it was a lot to figure out—running a business, managing my time, and making sure I was really helping kids—but I’ve always been determined. With my parents pushing me to follow my dreams, I started to get the hang of it. And now, I’m not just making money, I’m making a difference.
My goal? Show kids my age that you don’t have to wait ‘til you’re grown to do big things. I’m only 10, but I’m already doing what I love and making it work. Eliza’s Tutoring/Bright Futures is more than just helping with school. It’s about giving kids confidence, showing them they can crush their goals, and helping them believe in themselves.
I love seeing the progress in the kids I tutor. When they start feeling good about their work, I know I’m doing something right. I wanna keep growing my business so I can help even more kids get ahead.
This is just the start for me. I’ve got big plans, and I’m excited to see where it takes me. If you know anyone who needs help with their homework, hit me up. Together, we can create brighter futures, one lesson at a time.
